Privacy recommendations carry an unusually high trust burden. Evidence quality leads the model; commission and attribution matter, but recurring payouts receive less influence so a lucrative subscription cannot overwhelm verification.

Editorial independence. AffiliateDataset supplies normalized facts and verification metadata; Privacy Affiliates independently defines the weights, analysis, and conclusions. No provider can buy a ranking.

What the score does not mean. This is a ranking of affiliate-program terms, not a security assessment. Audit claims, ownership, logging practices, jurisdiction, and independent testing separately.

Each input is normalized to 0–1. Confidence uses AffiliateDataset’s evidence score; recurring is yes/no; commission caps at 100%; lifetime cookies score as the 365-day maximum. Missing fields receive zero rather than an invented estimate. Ties break on evidence confidence, then name.
